Toll Government and Defence, which handles services for government departments like Defence and Australian Border Force, is making its IT stronger and more modern. They’re using a special version of SAP software called sovereign cloud.
This helps them meet higher security demands from the government. Toll started this plan around two-and-a-half years ago. They knew they needed better security, so they chose SAP and its sovereign cloud.
With this technology, Toll can run its financial and other systems more safely. They don’t have to worry as much about security because SAP takes care of most of it.
The project has been split into two parts. First, they focused on the financial systems, and next they’ll work on things like warehouse management and transport.
Toll worked with IBM Consulting, who are experts in SAP. They wanted to make sure the project went smoothly and stayed on time and budget.
So far, the project has been successful and has made a big impact on Toll’s operations. They’re also looking at adding more SAP services in the future to make their work even better.
