A popular kids’ yoghurt product has been recalled by Food Standards Australia due to chemical contamination.
Two states have urgently pulled the food product from shelves after a batch of the popular snack was contaminated with sanitizer.
The affected product is Brownes Dairy’s Selfie Star yoghurt pouches in mango flavour. The batch affected by the contamination with a use-by date of October 14, 2022.
FSA is urging anyone who has purchased the affected product not to consume it, and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
The products were sold at independent food retailers such as IGA in NSW and Western Australia.
