Cleo Detectives trying to establish whether more than one person involved in the alleged abduction

Australia- Cleo Smith case is in the process of investigation. The police are trying to determine if more than one person was involved in the alleged abduction of a four-year-old girl. She was missing from a family near a camping site for 18 days before being found by the police in a Carnarvon house. However, the investigation is still in progress. On Monday morning, one of the officers, who rescued Cleo Smith from the house said there is still work to do and the investigation is going well.

Detectives reach Carnarvon, which is about 900 kilometers north of Perth. they Police expects to remain in Carnarvon for at least a week working on the case. Detective Senior Sergeant Cameron Blain said, ‘’ The focus this week is for us to ascertain if there was anyone else involve. That’s why we are still here. Furthermore, he ask for anyone who had contact with Cleo’s alleged abductor, Terence Darrell Kelly, to come forward. He added, ‘’ we just ask that if there was anyone that had any contact with Mr. Kelly, whether you saw him, whether you met him, whether you spoke to him on the phone during the relevant period, to please make yourself known to police.’’

Meanwhile, police stay at the home of the Abductor where Cleo was found. On Sunday they load brown paper evidence bags into two forensic vehicles parked at the taped-off crime scene. The abductor Terence Darrell Kelly was send to Perth from Carnarvon on Friday. Kelly was with specialist officers from the Department of Justice. He will face the court in early December. He is in Perth prison with maximum security. On Thursday, he appeared in the Carnarvon Magistrates court charged with one count of Child stealing and other crimes.
