My name is Cleo: Western Australian Girl ‘alive and well’ after going missing more than two weeks ago

WA police say four-year-old Cleo smith recovered after they broke into a house about 1 am. One man is in custody, however, police refrain from giving any statement at the moment. The mother of the little girl Cleo Smith has declared her ‘’ family is whole again’’ after her daughter was found alive. She went missing from a campsite in remote Western Australia a week ago.

Detective Sergeant Cameron Blaine says Cloe Smith was full of energy. Also, the police are not sure if she is aware of her abduction. Therefore, the police are very careful what they ask her, so as not to influence her record of events.

The police said, ‘’ we also need to be mindful of their mental health and welfare. The questions that, it was more or less that we were talking to her, that she was talking to us. ‘’

Since the police have been searching for her for about two weeks. They feel very good, and show love towards the kid saying she is a very sweet, very energetic girl. We all wanted to take turns holding her. It was a really good experience. ‘’

Detective Sergeant Cameron Blaine says it was fantastic. Originally, seeing her there in the way that she was, it was incredible.’’

How Police found her?

The four police officers raided the house in Carnarvon in the morning and found her.

Also, Blaine was the police officer, who asked Cleo her name and her response was ‘my name is Cleo’. Once they found Cleo, they called her parents, telling them ‘’ There is someone who wants to speak to them.’’

For the whole team, community, and Cleo volunteers, it was the most incredible moment to witness the reunion.

According to WA police, there was no clue or information about the house. However, the information about the unknown car at the Campground was a crucial piece in the case. Nor, the police suspect the man in custody before yesterday.

Meanwhile, Wilde believes that the alleged abduction ‘’ appears to be opportunistic.’’

Police appreciate the community for providing information about the case and helping the police.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said Cleo’s disappearance had ‘’ captured the hearts of Australians as we felt such terrible sorrow for the family.’’

He added, ‘’ I want to thank, particularly, all of the police and all of those who were involved in making sure that Cleo is safe and we are so thankful… I just thank God that Cleo is home and that she is safe.
