Belong- Telstra’s budget brand has appointed Fabio Andrighet as new Chief Technology officer. This appointment comes after the departure of its previous CTO, Lambros Kallianiotis. He left to take on a role at Bupa in November.

Lambros Kallianiotis was appointed as CTO of Belong in February of the previous year. He had replaced Natalie Field in the role. Natalie Field is now Bupa’s chief digital and data officer for APAC.

After Lambros Kallianiotis left Belong, the company’s network manager, Adam Edwards, became the acting CTO. Edwards had been with Belong for over five years at that time. He had likely developed a deep understanding of the company’s technology operations and infrastructure. Edwards has continued to play an important role at Belong as head of networks.

Andrighet has more than 12 years experience

Fabio Andrighet has more than 12 years working across various technology-based roles at ANZ Banking Group. This experience in the financial sector may provide Andrighet with a unique perspective on the technology needs. Additionally, his previous experience in various technology-based roles may have prepared him well for this role.

He will be responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy. Ultimately focusing on innovation and improving the customer experience. Andrighetto said,”“I am excited to step into the role of CTO at Belong, learn from its devoted team, and contribute to the goal of making the world a more digitally inclusive place.”

He added,“Through technology, and alongside brilliant and passionate minds, I’m keen to continue telling Belong’s story.”

Belong chief executive, Jana Kotatko said,“We’re thrilled to have Fabio join our team. We’re looking forward to seeing how his leadership will help Belong continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Moreover, Andrighetto has held roles at IBM and Oracle in various consultancy roles. These experiences in consulting may have provided him with exposure to a range of different companies. Overall, Andrighetto’s diverse background in technology and digital customer experience could be an asset to Belong.
