Australian Human Rights Commission wishes to upgrade its information technology

The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) is seeking to upgrade its IT systems after investing minimally in technology over the past decade.

The commission has requested external assistance in conducting an audit of its current IT environment and developing a business case to present to the government later this year.

According to a tender released by the AHRC, its current systems are inefficient, and there is a need for investment in infrastructure platforms and systems to support its operations over the next five to ten years.

Although the AHRC currently uses cloud-based systems such as Azure and Dynamics CRM, these are not extensively utilized. The commission will pay a consultancy firm up to $150,000 to evaluate its existing systems and propose future investment requirements.
