WhatsApp willing to be banned in UK over encryption

Popular messaging platform Whatsapp refuses to compromise on privacy in the UK. The messaging app has stated that it would rather be blocked than compromise its encryption. Will Cathcart, the head of the app, said it would refuse to comply if asked to weaken the privacy of encrypted messages.
