The 14-year-old and 12 year old were failed to return to their campsite by nightfall.

Also, a paramedic was present on the scene, and help the children walk out to the waiting ambulance. There wasn’t any major injury, the Children had minor scratches and cuts. Detective inspector Antaw said, ‘’ It’s a sensational feeling, not only for the family and friends of the children but it’s also fantastic for the emergency service, the local community and the community in Sydney where the children from.’’

The main reason behind the loss was the disorientation of the children. As the terrain is steep, rocky, and wooded, and also light misty rain had fallen on Monday. The temperature in the bushes was down. Meanwhile, police appreciate the children for their resilience and strength. For they had spent more than 20 hours in the bushes. The family expressed their gratitude for everyone who was involved in the rescue mission. They had issued a statement that was read by the police. ‘’ The family would like to give deepest thanks to emergency services and volunteers for assisting in the safe recovery of our Children.
