Cybersecurity Investment: The DCS will receive $80 million to bolster its critical cybersecurity activities. This funding aims to strengthen the state’s cybersecurity posture and support essential cyber defense measures.
Digital Restart Fund: An allocation of $66 million will be added to the Digital Restart Fund, which has previously supported significant digital transformation projects across the state, amounting to over $2 billion.
Service NSW Funding: An additional $232.5 million will be provided to Service NSW through 2026-27 to ensure the continuation of essential services and meet growing demand in the coming years.

Additionally, the budget includes allocations for emergency communication services, including funding for broadband cell on wheels (COWs) to provide internet and mobile phone coverage in disaster areas, upgrades for vehicle-as-a-node (VAAN) technology for firefighting vehicles, and investments in police operational radio communication capabilities.
Furthermore, Transport for NSW will receive $15.8 million to enhance the Public Transport Information and Priority System, improving real-time bus tracking for passengers and enhancing the reliability of public transport services.
