Nintendo has officially announced a new version of the Nintendo switch, which will be released on October 8 this year.
The Nintendo Switch OLED model will have a larger and brighter 7in screen, a wide kickstand for table play, better quality audio in portable mode and 64GB of game storage.
What’s New?
Like the 2017 Nintendo switchch, it can be placed on a home TV dock to play on a larger screeb, or also played as hand-held console.
The TV dock will also have a cable LAN port, an additional service for players who like to play competitively with other players online.
Most Awaited 2021 Game
An improved model of Nintendo’s successful console has been rumored last year, and at the same time it had been expected to be announced during E3 last June.
It will be announced on the same day as Metroid Dread, the most awaited game on Nintendo’s 2021 lineup.
Three Nintendo Switch Versions
Now there are three different versions of Nintendo Switch : the original switch, the Lite switch, which is not having the facility to be connected to the TV, and the latest OLED model.
All available Nintendo Switch games are compatible with each version of the console.
Over 85 million Nintendo Switch Consoles have been sold since its inception in 2017, and have been on sale during the pandemic as well.
It saw a boost to the demand after the new game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game has sold over 30m and has become a symbol of creative work. Nintendo registered a profit of $ 4.4bn in its most recent financial year.
