Following Shane Gandy’s internal transfer, the NSW Department of Education is looking for a new director of identity and access management (IAM).
In April of this year, Gandy was appointed director, in charge of “one of the largest identification platforms in the southern hemisphere.”
The identities of 850 000 students and 150 000 employees are managed by the IAM system.
Making sure the department’s IAM strategy is in line with its larger cyber and digital strategies will be one of the new director’s duties.
The Department of Education’s spokeswoman verified to iTnews that the hiring process is underway.
Damien Mathieson is the CISO for Education, and the chosen candidate will work there.
