Netflix aims real-life  Squid Game Reality TV Show

Netflix plans for real-life Squid Game reality TV show with $4.56m prize for the winner. For reality Tv show, Netflix is recruiting participants from all over the globe. Squid Game is the most popular series of all time on Netflix. 

The reality-Tv show will not be life or death that is at risk, as portrayed in the South Korean drama. Rather, the worst destiny is going home empty-handed. The winner will go home with &4.56m(£3.8m) prize. 

Netflix recruitment around the world 

Total of 456 players from the globe will play the game. Meanwhile, Netflix confirmed that the series would be renewed for a second season. On Wednesday, the company announced a 10-episode series. 

Netflix said, ‘’The Challenge – would offer the “largest cast and lump cash prize in reality TV history.As players compete through a series of games inspired by the original show – plus surprising new additions – their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them,” 

Age limit to participate in the show 

To participate in the reality show, one must be 21 year old. They must speak English and be available for filming early 2023. The show features the same number of participants as the Squid Game series. Seong Gi-hun refers to them as Player 456. 

The Squid game is a story of debt-ridden people competing for a huge prize. These players compete in a deadly series of children’s games. It’s the most popular Netflix series streamed by 111 million users within its first days of on air.  

 Hwang Dong-hyuk,Director, writer and executive producer of Squid Game said in a statement on Monday: “It took 12 years to bring the first season of Squid Game to life last year. But it took 12 days for Squid Game to become the most popular Netflix series ever.”

Netflix has raised its price, and also left Russia amid recent fights. It is facing intense competition from rivals. Also, in April, it revealed a sudden drop in its subscribers. Now struggling to get back on track.
