Here we sit down with Dr. Mansi, to know a bit more about her journey as an entrepreneur.

Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Dr. Mansi: I am from the corporate healthcare world, and I saw that there was a gap where practitioners and doctors were feeling unfulfilled in their careers because they couldn’t take their patients from point A to point B due to restrictions on how they were allowed to practice. Because I’m a pharmacist, I’ve witnessed that a lot of us were feeling stuck, and the true calling wasn’t served. Because we weren’t even given provider status when I was a pharmacist back in the day, I saw an opportunity to create a unique style of private practice for healthcare practitioners.

So I saw that I can pivot from my unfulfilled career to a more satisfied and freedom-based practice and became a functional pharmacist. That’s how Functional Wellness Network was born, where the whole signature process tested for two to three years that worked for me and several other healthcare professionals which gave birth to Healthpreneur Institute. My journey as an entrepreneur has been pretty challenging but very rewarding at the same time and I cherish every little win.

I have established that the journey towards becoming a successful private practice starts with understanding who you are and what your brand stands for. I help practitioners identify themselves as an authority in their niche by implementing systems that will create this branded identity, then we work together on all aspects of marketing from branding strategies to social media campaigns so they can be seen by everyone possible

I take people from not knowing where it is or how things should go  to having clarity about the next steps needed to be a successful cash-based practice owner.

My ideal client is anyone who wants to start a thriving virtual practice, regardless of whether they are in the medical field or not. I also work with brick-and-mortar pharmacy owners and independent clinic owners as well as Med Spa owners looking for an extra income stream through my term key function medicine programs that are designed just for them!

My team specializes in helping practitioners build their cash-based practice from scratch by designing custom programs tailored just how YOU want them to that are scalable and duplicatable.

Q. What are your long-term goals in business? Paint a vision for the future

Dr. Mansi: I have a long-term goal to serve 10,000 – 15K businesses in the next 10 years. And what I want for this whole arena is that functional medicine practitioners should be available on every other corner because that’s really how our world will thrive. Since these types of practices and nutritional advice have become more accepting nowadays which helps people get better faster without having any side effects from drugs/surgery etc. Helping them to be happy again and live the high-quality life that they deserve.

Q. What motivates you?

Dr. Mansi: What motivates me is the sense of accomplishment that comes with helping someone succeed, be it in their personal life or professional career. I take pride when we are able to provide them with a solution and make sure they know how everything works so there isn’t any confusion on either end our turnkey solutions can do wonders for your business!

Q. What business-related book has inspired you the most, or, what is your favourite book?

Dr. Mansi: The 4-Hour Work Week is a book that really helped me structure my life and work towards the goals I wanted. It’s all based on Tim Ferriss’ turnkey system, which has been successful for him in terms of creating an entrepreneurial lifestyle with very little stress or worry about what comes next; there are no excuses not to succeed. Another book is The 1 Thing book which helped me focus on just a few tasks at once can help simplify our work and free up time for other important projects in order to bring balance back into our lives, according to altogether with this idea that there are many ways of looking at any given situation before committing yourself fully onto them. If an aspiring entrepreneurs can read into that, they can really understand the whole model is structured.

Q. What strategies do you use to optimize your performance or mindset?

Dr. Mansi: So I always tell people that if your coach doesn’t have a coach, don’t hire them, because they’re not constantly learning new things because you have to be constantly adding new strategies, fresh perspective, market research. So that’s what I do. And then, of course, I meditate every day with brain tap and then hike, spend time in nature, like everything that’s needed to become a fine entrepreneur.

Q. If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?

Dr. Mansi: I’m actually writing one, it’s called Seven Secrets to becoming a powerpreneur in which I’m sharing all the secrets that have helped me become the powerful entrepreneur that I am now and how I positioned myself and made it a successful business entity.

Q. What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?

Dr. Mansi: The reason why I’m so successful is because of my $50,000 mastermind coaching program. This has helped me create the healthpreneur Institute Academy where we teach people how to be a leader and reach all their goals with less stress!

Q. Where do you see the future in your niche/industry 3-5 years from now?

Dr. Mansi: Functional (FXN) and Nutritional (NGX) medicine is the future. The way of thinking and doing health care has to change, or else all those that are in business today will be out soon enough. I’m into functional medicine practice because it’s where trends are headed-motivating others with a more holistic approach not just treating symptoms but also addressing root causes. As long as people keep getting healthier this trend should continue growing exponentially so you can expect increased demand from doctors looking for ways other than traditional Western medicine may help them achieve their goals.

Q. What is your ‘one-sentence’ piece of advice you’d like to give to someone who wants to become an entrepreneur, coach, or business owner?

Dr. Mansi: I always tell people that if you want to become a successful entrepreneur, you have to plan properly, where either you have a whole year or two years’ worth of savings, or you have enough investments that are making you a passive income. And that same strategy that helped me become the successful thriving entrepreneur I am today is the same vehicle I offer to my clients for a passive income while they’re working hard to become full-time entrepreneurs. I would say most business owners or entrepreneurs fail because they run out of money- the goal of this vehicle is to prevent that from happening.
