Here we sit down with Danee, to know a bit more about her journey as an entrepreneur.
Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?
Danee: I began my journey over 30 years ago as a young 19-year-old fresh business owner of a boujee cafe in Melbourne’s bustling restaurant district, Causeway Lane.
Soon after I was blessed to begin my journey as a full time mother, having 5 incredible children.
I became restless quickly and went on to create a start-up high-end children’s Fashion label. This caught the attention of the Melbourne Fashion scene with regular showings at Melbourne Fashion week and published articles in Bambini magazine for kids.
I was then fortunate enough to be introduced to Personal development, where I discovered a new way of thinking and being. Network Marketing found it’s way into my life, making a huge impact on me as well as many others I had the pleasure of mentoring and coaching. I was able to reach the top 2% of my company globally within a very short period of time.
Understanding the power of Personal Development, I was compelled to place this into the hands of as many business owners and people as possible.The Impact it had on me was extraordinary.
I began my mentoring journey outside of Network marketing and helped many reach new heights in their lives and businesses. I was able to help even more people move out of the foothills and begin their path to success.
Today and every day I love and live my life on purpose, mentoring business owners to dream big and believe that success is their birthright. We are all Infinite and have huge potential when we know how to tap into it.
Q. What’s one thing in your routine that you do consistently that has made a huge difference in your personal or business life?
Danee: I run a 6 am gratitude club, where I invite people from across the globe to join me in beginning the day prosperous and abundant, with their hearts full of gratitude.
It helps each of us tap into our highest potential and raise our frequency and vibe. The first success principle.
Q. Who are your mentors and inspiration? and what knowledge or insight did they give to you that was valuable?
Danee: My mentor and Inspiration was the late Bob Proctor. I was blessed to be guided by his teachings and the incredible Proctor Gallagher Institute team. His belief in each of us and the ability to hold a vision of what the average person would deem impossible was my driving force for success. To scale from 4 figure months to 6-figure months was something I never thought possible for myself in this lifetime.
I am so blessed to have the knowledge and resources to be able to mentor others through this incredible lineage of mentors dating back to Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon Hill and Earl Nightingale, Bob’s mentor. This was my greatest gift. Their hindsight became my foresight.
Q. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
Danee: Reaching my first ever $20,000 cash month. This was an intention I has set with my mentor, yet I never really believed that it was possible for me. His faith in my ability gave me no choice but to believe in myself.
I was shocked, but it was at that one moment that I knew I had the power to create anything and the only missing piece to that equation was my ability to truly believe and have faith in my future self.
Q. How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?
Danee: I don’t have a website and I understand people may think that it’s crazy. I have run a very successful business without it.
People have the opportunity to speak directly with my clients and decide.
I have a linktr.ee account, a private Facebook group and Instagram where anyone wishing to work with me can join my free 5-day Masterclasses and experience my coaching style, learn and interact with me directly.
Q. What has been your biggest failures or challenges?
Danee: I don’t talk about failure as I never give up.
My challenge in the beginning, would have to have been juggling my fast-growing business and a huge family.
Setting boundaries and learning to switch from stress frequency to ease and flow. I was being pulled from all directions and that proved to be difficult as it would often bring up emotions of guilt.
Q. How did this failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?
Danee: I was able to implement strong boundaries to help create both focused attention on my business and my family life. Most of us understand that focusing on your passion can consume your life and can leave those most important behind.I was guilty of this.
I made sure to schedule my CEO days in where my focus was purely on business & growth and then when it was family time, It was only family time. No phones or distractions.
The focus was on an ease and flow attitude with no room for anything but that. A great attitude daily compounded to exponential success long term.
Q. If someone was to create a TV show about you, what would it be about and what would it be called?
Danee: The Dear Danee Family Diaries.
I already have this name for my podcast.
My family and I are always entertaining many around us with funny stories, so it would be a reality TV show about my family.
We have had many moments of fun and laughter and I have always been known as the clumsy one. My name in Primary school was spaghetti legs. This has been passed down to 2 out of my 5 children.
When we travel we are called the National Lampoons VacatIon family.
So many mishaps and funny stories, like being bogged in a corn field on an isolated dirt road in Europe, with wild pigs making noises in the corn fields surrounding us for hours. Funny now, not then, lol.
