Q. Who has been the greatest inspiration of Harnoor?
Harnoor: I actually don’t have a single individual in mind who is my greatest inspiration as I believe in learning from everyone but following my own instinct of taking the right action. One of the best sources of inspiration for me have been entrepreneurs like Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Sundar Pichai.
Q. What business-related book has inspired you the most? (or, What is your favorite book?)
Harnoor: My favorite business-related books have been “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and “The Psychology of Money: Timeless Lessons on Wealth, Greed, and Happiness”. They have inspired me to value time and effort properly.
Q. If you had a magic stick, which are the three things you would change in the world?
Harnoor: If I wake up one day with a magic stick the first thing I will change is the health of my grandmother, she struggles a little bit. I believe Health is the biggest resource we have that I will prioritize more than anything in life. Second, the weather and the air. I think thousands of us or in fact millions of us are still breathing polluted air which I would love to clean with flicking my magic stick. Third, change the economy of major countries by reducing the number of homeless people and the people without proper sanitation and shelter.
Q. What is the part of your life experience you would alter if you had the chance to?
Harnoor: I think this could be a personal question as I value time with my parents more than success. Those moments are just more close to me and I have never seen my mom and dad together in life. I would love to change the past and create better memories for my present of the time that could have been more beautiful with family.
Q. If you were to write a book about yourself, how would you name it?
Harnoor: If I would love to write a book about myself then it would be about Colleges and how a student can use my knowledge of visiting colleges all around the world to choose the best fit for them.
