Google Apprentice Bard an answer to ChatGPT AI Chatbot

Google staff testing an in-house AI chatbot known as ‘’Apprentice Bard’’ rival to ChatGPT. It is considered as a response to OpenAI’s creation of ChatGPT. Apprentice Bard generates similar responses to ChatGPT. However, one major difference is its ability to respond based on the current date. It’s up-to-date with trends and news unlike ChatGPT whose cutoff year is 2021.

Google’s ChatBot is founded on LaMDA technology

Google’s Chatbot is uses LaMDA technology. It stands for ‘’Language Model for Dialogue Applications,’’ created by Google research back in 2017. It is the same LaMDA that led Google to fire its employee for leaking information calling it sentiment. Both ChatGPT and Bard might end up replacing human jobs. However, they swear that programmer’s jobs are safe and secure.

Unlike Brad, ChatGPT gives more detailed and lengthy answers to prompts. Meanwhile, Google is reluctant at saying that AI could be factually inaccurate and ChatGPT has been wrong at times. Google’s AI chief Jeff Dean recently said the company has a bigger reputation to safeguard, and is therefore progressing “more conservatively than a small startup.”

OpenAI’s chatbot with one million users in five days

ChatGPT has been impressive with its human-like responses to the queries. It went on to gain one million users in just five days of launch. It has made several tasks easier for people. Following that Google has a conference where Sundar Pichai, the chief executive of Google’s owner, Alphabet, said that Google is ‘’extremely well positioned’’ in the field of AI.

He further added, “In the coming weeks and months, we’ll make these language models available, starting with LaMDA so that people can engage directly with them.” Meanwhile, reports say that Google is working aggressively on its testing of alternative versions of its homepage. However, it would be much similar to that of ChatGPT.
