Endeavour Group has appointed a new CIO

Endeavour Group has announced the appointment of Claire Smith, former director of its innovation arm, as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) following the departure of Judith Powell.

Smith had been acting as the interim CIO since Powell’s departure at the end of last year, and her appointment as permanent CIO is seen as an opportunity for her to continue driving the group’s technology transformation plans.

In her new role, Smith will oversee the technology team, while Steve Cuda takes up the position of interim director at endeavourX. Cuda’s primary focus will be overseeing a recruitment process for the group as it looks to hire 300 new technology personnel. The appointments of Smith and Cuda are expected to transition in the coming weeks, as Smith prepares to lead Endeavour Group’s technology agenda.
