Global travel insurance firm Cover-More Group has hired Lisa Hilton to head its digital strategy as its new chief technology officer. Hilton has joined the leadership team.
In Australia, Argentina, Canada, Malaysia, the UK, and other countries, Cover-More Group, a subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group with operations in 15 countries, offers emergency medical aid and health support.
To lead the growth of Cover-technology More’s strategy and create architecture skill sets across core services and platforms, the international travel insurance provider started its hunt back in July.
Hilton will oversee the creation and execution of Cover-global More’s technology strategy as well as its architecture and engineering practises in her new role as group CTO.
“Excited to share my new role as Group Chief Technology Officer at Cover-More Group,” Hilton said on LinkedIn.
The team is “thrilled” by the hiring, according to Group CIO Conor Breslin, who arrived in October of last year. He will “help the company’s digital transformation and to continuing shaking up the insurance sector,” he added.
