The newly created position of chief information security officer is being sought by the Australian paint and home improvement product giant DuluxGroup.
The position “has been anticipated for some time, as we develop capability commensurate with DuluxGroup’s growth in recent years and our ongoing growth strategy,” a DuluxGroup representative told iTnews.
The CISO will collaborate with DuluxGroup’s executive management to identify acceptable risk levels and put a hierarchical information security governance model into place, according to a Linkedin statement.
Additionally, the CISO will “create, develop, and champion a capability for enterprise-wide cyber security awareness and education” and “give frequent reporting on the state of the information security programme to enterprise risk teams, senior business leaders, and the board of directors.”
Candidates must have experience in senior risk management, information security, IT or OT roles, as well as knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 ITIL, COBIT, NIST 800-53, and other widely used cybersecurity frameworks, according to the organisation, which is home to brands like Dulux, Selleys, Yates, and B&D Garage Doors.
After Eglantine Etiemble left for PEXA in April of this year, DuluxGroup hired Angela Anthony as its new executive general manager of IT and digital.
