In order to drive its digital strategy when travel picks back up, global travel insurance provider Cover-More Group is looking for a new chief technology officer.
The international travel insurance provider is a part of the Zurich Insurance Group and provides emergency medical care along with travel cover in Australia, Argentina, China, Canada, and Malaysia.
As it works to expand its technical remit, it is currently looking to grow its workforce by adding a CTO post.
The new CTO will oversee the technology strategy for Cover-development More’s and develop architecture skill sets for key platforms and services.
The representative stated, “That is why we are continuing to invest in how we deliver these digital encounters and the tools that support them.
Conor Breslin, group chief information officer, who joined the company in October 2021, will be the next CTO’s immediate supervisor.
After a protracted search, Breslin was appointed to oversee Cover-worldwide More’s IT staff and strategic IT initiatives, succeeding former group CIO Nicki Doble.
More recently, Cover-More hired Matthew Townend to be its new head of cyber security, a position with global responsibility for managing the organization’s cyber security needs.
