AMP hires its first Group CTO

Felicia Trewin has been appointed as AMP first group chief technology officer and a group executive committee member.

Trewin, as CTO, will lead the group’s technology strategy and accelerate the use of digital and data technologies throughout the organization.

Trewin will begin her new post in March 2022 and report to AMP’s CEO Alexis George. In September, AMP originally launched its search for a CTO when the firm restructured its top leadership team. AMP is “pleased to have acquired a technical leader of Felicia’s skill to carry our agenda ahead,” according to George.

“She will offer enthusiasm and a fresh perspective, as well as her significant expertise in the wealth and banking industries,” said George in a statement. “Throughout her career, Felicia has worked on the complete spectrum of technology, from new technology creation to big programme delivery and optimization.”

“We are excited to welcome her.” Trewin joins AMP following three and a half years as AustralianSuper’s group executive for technology.
