Chinese Car Brands are Ruling Australia

Australians are buying Chinese cars and sales of Chinese cars are at their peak in Australia. Chinese car brands are becoming popular here and making the other car makers worried. Makers like MG, LDV, and Great Wall Motors are booming in the Australian car markets. MG is now a top 10 selling brand with its sales are up 220 percent this year. Lesser and Great Wall Motors are up 110 and 285 percent respectively. They are lighting up the markets because they are providing machines with long warranties and advanced equipment. Chinese car-making giant Geely owns Volvo which is surprising for the customers. Volvo is already popular here in Australia and it is at the forefront of electric vehicles; soon Volvo is launching its several models.

The Chinese cars are hitting the markets with a huge turnover. XC40 Recharge electric SUV launched in Australia and will be joined by other models in the upcoming years. The Polestar 2, the brand’s first vehicle, is expected to be launched in Australia this year. It is similar to the Tesla Model 3.

The Polestar 2 is built in China, has a massive 11-inch touchscreen. BYD is another maker that has set its eye on Australia and plans to launch its vehicle by 2022. The maker is planning to launch two SUVs, a sports sedan, and a small family car.

China, now, has become the fourth largest importer of Chinese cars in Australia and has overtaken Germany. Australians bought more than 3000 MGs last year. MG Australia’s boss is delighted with the car sales.

Chinese cars and their brands are giving tough competition to Volkswagen, Honda, and Mercedes-Benz in Australia. Besides Chinese cars, Toyota dominated in Australia this year.

Chinese cars and their brands are still enjoying record growth as they are selling cars at low prices with long-life equipment. Surely, this year has been fruitful for the Chinese carmakers. They will be enjoying Australia as customers are really happy with their efforts and outcome.
