Apple has released its first set of patches under the Rapid Security Response (RSR) program, which aims to deliver security improvements to iPhones, iPads, and Macs between the company’s usual patch cycle.
RSR patches are meant to address zero-day vulnerabilities and other critical system libraries, such as Safari and WebKit. The patches were designed for iOS/iPadOS 16.4.1 or Macs running macOS version 13.3.1. However, some users have reported issues with the installation process, with some updates failing due to a TSS error. Apple has not yet provided details about what the RSR patches address.
