The 2023 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs) are generating significant excitement within the mortgage and finance industry, with an expected full-house event.
More than 600 tickets have already been sold for this prestigious gathering set to take place on Friday, October 13, 2023. It will bring together key players in the industry, including lenders, brokers, brokerages, aggregators, BDMs, and industry representatives, all eager to honor the industry’s finest.
Hosted at Sydney’s Star Event Centre, this black-tie gala dinner, led by comedian and broadcaster Merrick Watts, will recognize excellence across various categories such as service delivery, innovation, professionalism, and leadership.
The 2023 excellence awardees have been revealed, building anticipation as the industry waits to discover this year’s well-deserved winners.
Anja Pannek, CEO of MFAA (pictured above), expressed pride in the MFAA’s sponsorship of the Brokerage of the Year (1-5 staff) award at this year’s Australian Mortgage Awards. There are nine excellence awardees (finalists) in this category.

Ticket sales are still available, but they are selling rapidly. Individuals and groups of 10 can make bookings through the Australian Mortgage Awards website.The awards, organized by Key Media and supported by Mortgage Professional Australia and Australian Broker, have the backing of event partner Westpac, along with NAB and PRPTY 360 as premium sponsors.

The evening commences with pre-awards networking drinks at 7 pm, followed by a three-course dinner banquet and the awards ceremony. Live music from the acclaimed party band, SongDivision, will keep attendees entertained until midnight, giving them a chance to relax and dance the night away.
