Claudio Salinas, who previously worked for the industrial and safety business of Wesfarmers, has joined Hungry Jack’s as its new CIO.
Salinas fills a position that has been open since former CIO Bruce Nolte left to join senior living business Levande in August 2022. It’s unclear who filled the interim CIO position.
Salinas announced his resignation from Wesfarmers after four and a half years in a LinkedIn post.
“There are too many people to acknowledge, but what I’ll take away with me is the reflection of a superstar team, including tech partners past and present,” he wrote.
“I am really eager to start a new adventure with Hungry Jack’s as CIO, carrying all of my learnings with me.”
When contacted regarding Salinas’ hiring, a Hungry Jack’s spokeswoman declined to comment.
Salinas stated on LinkedIn that his goal is to “leverage digital technologies to offer a superior customer experience” for the chain of fast food restaurants.
Salinas served as CIO at Pickles Auctions for for five years prior to joining Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety. Prior to that, he served as CTO for property investment Norfolk Group.
Additionally, he worked for Downer for close to five years in both its Rail and EDI Services divisions.
