Australian payments fintech company Zepto has announced the appointment of Rich Miller as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Miller will be taking over from Trevor Wistaff, who has transitioned into a director role within the company.
As CTO, Miller will report directly to CEO Chris Jewell and will play a crucial role in developing a strategic technology roadmap and shaping the product and engineering vision for Zepto.
In a statement, Miller expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating that he is excited to contribute to taking Australia’s first non-bank New Payments Platform (NPP)-connected institution to new heights, while continuing to transform the Australian payments ecosystem.
Zepto counts Woolworths Group’s payment arm, Wpay, among its notable enterprise customers.
Miller joins Zepto from digital twin company Willow, where he also held the position of CTO for nearly three years. Prior to that, he served as the CTO of online lending company Prospa for over three years as well.
