Anastasia Cammaroto, NAB’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Personal Banking and Digital, has accepted a new role with Barclays in the UK. Cammaroto announced her departure on LinkedIn, expressing gratitude for her time leading the CIO personal bank and digital team at NAB and stating that she is embarking on a new adventure overseas.
Paul Norman will temporarily assume Cammaroto’s position as Acting CIO at NAB while the search for a permanent replacement is underway. Norman joined NAB in August 2021 as an Executive Technology for Home Ownership. He oversees the end-to-end technology involved in a customer’s home ownership journey and played a key role in the development of NAB’s streamlined mortgage platform, which reduced approval time to under 60 minutes.
Cammaroto joined NAB from Westpac, where she worked for four years in various roles. During her tenure at NAB, she contributed to projects such as the dynamic card verification value (CVV) feature and played a role in establishing the AWS ‘She Builds CloudUp’ program. This program aims to support women pursuing careers in technology and facilitate professional development and reskilling opportunities.
