The second round of Coles Group’s Relaucher programme has begun in an effort to lure returning IT talent to fill unfilled positions.
The retailer is eager to “relaunch” the careers of IT-minded individuals who took time off for self-employment, education, or caregiving by giving them the opportunity to take part in its work programme.
“Mentorship, on-the-job training, and coaching suited to a number of fascinating professions,” according to Coles, will be offered.
The company claimed that participants would enjoy flexible working arrangements and being a part of a close-knit cohort as they returned to their technological careers.
The programme, which will debut in 2021, aims to fill positions including project manager, security compliance manager, senior business analyst, automation specialist, and agile manager.
The spokeswoman stated, “This year, we are hoping for 25 people to return to the workforce.”
Successful candidates will start their training in March 2023, and after finishing the programme, they will be guaranteed a job with Coles.
