Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Miriam Bradbury said the rough weather is likely to start from this Wednesday, as the system takes moisture from the tropics.
Affected Regions
Queensland, Tasmania, New South Wales, and Victoria will be in the line coming in on Thursday and Friday under this Australian Weather Warning. Ms. Bradbury further stated that there is a potential for rough storms in the coming week. The prediction of flash flooding, wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and large hail is also at cognizance. The heavy rainfall will end a dry patch that was there from winter to spring in Queensland.
Brisbane will also receive heavy rainfall along with massive thunderstorms. The region will receive the heavy rainfall that it has had in almost three months. Charleville, Longreach, and Roma are predicted to receive lashing rainfall on Wednesday before the trough arrives on Thursday.
