An urgent recall of a popular men’s Jack The Barber Body Spray range product has been issued by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) due to fears that it could explode.
The range with three variations of the body spray deodorant cans being recalled. The affected cans are sold in Woolworths stores across Australia and come in scents Rebel, Nomad and Rogue.
The ACCC recalled the product due to the risk of the cans popping or exploding. The ACCC noted that the spray cans have been identified as having a potential fault in their aerosol valves which may cause them to suddenly release a large amount of pressure, resulting in the cans popping or exploding.

“The base of the body spray can is not built to withstand extreme pressure and may burst or explode,” the watchdog said.
The ACCC is urging anyone who has purchased one of the three variations of the Jack The Barber Body Spray range to immediately stop using the product and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
The products in question were sold in Woolies stores between September 18th and December 20th, 2022, and bear the batch codes 22I071, 22F302, 22J181, 22F301, 22H311, and 22F281.
