The Domino’s Pizza A/NZ CIO search is over

After a five-month search, Domino’s Pizza Enterprises has chosen Rod Chapman to serve as its chief information officer for Australia and New Zealand.

When former A/NZ CIO Dan Hawkins was appointed general manager of Domino’s New Zealand in August of last year, the firm started looking for a replacement.

Beginning at the end of January, Chapman will begin reporting to Matthias Hansen, Domino’s global chief technology officer.

Rod will be extremely beneficial, according to Hansen, because of his competence to manage continuing expenses, security, skills, capacity, operations, and change processes while maintaining a balance between long-term planning and the continuous commercial need for IT projects and services.

EG Australia, which runs EG Ampol fuel stations and convenience stores all around Australia, previously employed Chapman as CIO.

When Woolworths sold its service station business to the British company EG Group in 2019, EG Australia was created.

Chapman spent five years with Woolworths Group prior to the sale, serving most notably as CIO for the business’ gasoline segment.

In addition, he served as managing director of Accenture from 2013 to 2014 and worked with Cell C for more than ten years.
