A Philadelphian mother Yiran sherry gives birth to her first Tesla baby. An infant delivered in the front seat of an electric smart car on autopilot. Her waters broke while the family was stuck in traffic. The incredible story was reported by the Philadelphia inquirer. The couples name Yiran Sherry 33, and her husband Keating sherry, 34 were taking their son Rafa to pre-school. The remarkable delivery took place in September. Since the couple was stuck in traffic, they realized that they can’t make it on time to the hospital. Meanwhile, the traffic was barely moving ahead.
Consequently, her husband Keating Sherry placed the car on autopilot after setting the navigation to the hospital. As he attended to his wife, he laid one hand on the car’s steering. He said, ‘’ She was squeezing my hand to the point where I thought she was going to shatter it. I was saying. ‘Yiran, Ok, Focus on your breathing.’ That was advice to myself, as well. My adrenaline was pumping.’’
Unbearable Pain
Yiran Sherry said it was unbearable, as she kept glancing at their estimated arrival time and saw it was hardly moving. According to People Magazine, she recalled telling herself, ‘’ should I push or should I hold? Should I push o should I hold? Fuck it, let’s do this,’’ She gave birth to a baby girl as they arrived at the hospital. Nurses did cut the baby’s umbilical cord over the car’s front seat. Keating Sherry said, ‘’ once the pediatrician said, She’s healthy, congratulations, that was quite the sigh of relief.’’ Once she was in the hospital, Yiran said, nurses kept coming into her room to check the ‘’Tesla baby’’.
Also, many ask Keating and his wife about the delivery in the car. They would ask, ‘’ Are you the one who delivered. The couple named their daughter ‘’Maeve Lily’’.
Keating sherry said, ‘’ thank you genius Tesla engineers for your brilliant design of autopilot. ‘’
