Our mission is to create a more digital ecosystem where everyone may flourish. Angela Logothetis, CTO of Amdocs Open Network, has been named to oversee Telstra’s edge and cloud business. Logothetis “comes to with an incredible history in the IT and telco industry, having spent the previous 13 years in different top technical roles at Amdocs,”.
According to Kim Krogh Andersen, one of the group directors at Telstra. “She spearheaded their efforts driving adoption of open based cloud networking and edge computer, combining the best of 5G, Intelligence, and automation as CTO of Amdocs Open Networking,” he added. Sarah Anderson, who has been functioning as the edge and cloud group executive for the previous eight months, will be replaced by Logothetis.
Sarah Anderson has been promoted to Telstra Purple & Technology Services executive. She spent the previous nine years at Telstra in various roles, including director of the global hybrid and public cloud products and general manager of cloud platforms, all with a “deep focus on cloud.” The adjustments are anticipated to help the telecom prepare for a new transformation initiative.
Last month, Telstra announced the T25 initiative, claiming that it will begin in July 2022 and last three years. T25 intends to achieve $500 million net cost savings, cash conversions and creation, active portfolio management, and value for shareholders through an improved capital management framework, according to CEO Andrew Penn during an investor day.
