Singapore Airlines budget line Scoot has announced that they will no longer offer flights between the Gold Coast Airport and Singapore Airport.
Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has been offering flights between the Gold Coast Airport and Singapore Airport for a long time.
The budget Singapore Airlines, has sent an email to passengers informing them that flights between Gold Coast Airport and Singapore Airport will cease to be available after July 17.
The airline stated they are attempting to adjust capacity and use resources efficiently in order to meet demand. Passengers with tickets after the mid-July cut-off date will be given the option to receive a full refund or a flight credit from the airline.
Scoot will offer twelve flights from Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth to Singapore Airport per week.
The airline was a popular choice for budget-conscious travelers, particularly those looking to connect with Singapore Airlines’ extensive network of international destinations.
Fortunately, there are still other options for travelers looking to fly between the Gold Coast and Singapore. Other airlines, such as Qantas, AirAsia X and Emirates, offer regular flights between the two destinations. Additionally, travelers who had booked a ticket with Scoot for travel after July 17 will be entitled to a refund or credit.
