SA Water has established four divisions to enhance its technology operations and transition to a smart utility. The utility is looking to lead and implement significant system change programs as part of this transition.
The company is currently hiring for a senior leadership team in its technology group, with roles covering sovereign technology operations, data and analytics, cyber and resilience, and enterprise architecture.
All four leaders will report to CIO Elise Vervetjes, who joined SA Water in September 2022. One of the key responsibilities of this team will be to lead SA Water’s response to the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act. SA Water places significant importance on managing cyber security risks for its business and customers, with compliance with the act being a crucial aspect.
