Explosives and blasting systems manufacturer, Orica, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, is set to implement Ceridian’s Dayforce software across its operations in 47 countries to enable a unified human resources and payroll system.
The move to a single system is expected to support Orica’s future growth and improve compliance across multiple regions. The project involves the participation of Orica personnel, Deloitte, Brisbane-based consultancy Think Best Practice, and Ceridian.
Deloitte assisted in the selection process and will remain involved in the implementation. Orica, with more than 12,500 employees globally, currently uses different HR systems for various regions.
