Oracle shares jumped over 10% following the company’s push to integrate AI into its cloud services, boosting first-quarter performance and closing the gap with market leaders. Despite being a later entrant in the cloud industry, Oracle’s strategic investments in AI have made its products increasingly attractive to businesses.
The company’s cloud revenue rose 21% to $5.6 billion, outpacing estimates, while total revenue reached $13.31 billion.
Oracle’s partnerships with other cloud providers, including AWS and Google Cloud, are key to its growth, as these collaborations simplify data integration across platforms. Nvidia’s AI hardware also powers Oracle’s infrastructure, positioning the company for continued growth.
With shares up 32% this year, analysts expect further gains as AI infrastructure bookings rise and the cloud market expands.
