The Health Professions Council Authority (HPCA) of New South Wales (NSW) is implementing a robust complaints process using Salesforce technology.This initiative marks a move away from the old bespoke system previously used to deal with complaints.
It deals with the problems of registered health professionals in NSW, which cover areas such as dentistry, nursing and pharmacy.
In addition to making it easier to report and track complaints, the new platform will look at monitoring how businesses comply with their registration status and restrictions set by the HPCA.
Implementation of the program will be extended to HPCA’s legislative staff, which includes 180 employees, members of 15 health care professional associations and approximately 400 individuals who serve as listening hearing officers during legislative sessions and inquiries
An HPCA NSW spokeswoman highlighted the transformational impact of the new policy, highlighting its potential to streamline and improve the process of complaints and claims for registered healthcare providers in NSW plants. These policies are in line with HPCA’s broader strategy aimed at delivering consumer-centric legal services to local communities.
Capgemini has been entrusted with a broad range of activities related to the platform, including planning, integration, vendor development, data migration, testing, training and ongoing support The effort has been contracted for millions of dollars 9.2 will be provided, with an expected useful life of one year.
The decision to adopt Salesforce had an impact on its existing use for the pharmacy ownership pathway under the HPCA, allowing the company to expand its services to include complaint handling and compliance management.
