Novak Djokovic detention following a meeting with his lawyers

Tennis Start Novak Djokovic visa cancelled for the second time on health order grounds. Immigration Minister Alex Hawke negated his visa. Meanwhile, Djokovic is appealing against the cancellation. Also, at this particular time, the Serbian tennis star cannot be deported. He will bear legal challenges.

Additionally, Immigration Department deputy secretary Abdul Rizvi told ABC news and said, ‘’ A court cannot issue a visa. Only the minister or the minister’s delegate can issue a visa. What a court can do is squash the visa cancellation which would reinstate the player earlier visa.’’

Djokovic’s lawyers added more argument to their application

Tennis Star lawyers filed an amended application. The earlier application argued that the Immigration Minister did not take the application logically or reasonably. Neither had evidence to support the claim Mr. Djokovic would ‘’ foster anti-vaccination sentiment’’ allowing him to stay in Australia. Furthermore, they are adding that it was not open to Ministers to make findings Djokovic had a ‘well known position on vaccination.’’

Alex De Minaur said, ‘’ Australians have gone through a lot. There’s no secret about that. They’ve had it very tough. They’ve done a lot of work to protect themselves and their borders. When you’re coming in, as well as every other tennis player, if you wanted to come into the country, you had to be double vaccinated. It was up to him, his choices and his judgement.’’

Meanwhile, Tennis Star Nadal says, he is a bit tired of the whole situation. He believes it’s important to talk about our sport, about tennis.

Consequently, the tennis star lawyer did online pull about his stay him Australia. He wrote, ‘’ Should Novak Djokovic be allowed to stay and play in the Australian open? Almost 60% said ‘’ yes’’ and 37% percent‘’ no’’ and only 3% said they are not sure.
