New Law Restricts Availability of Vapes in Australia

The Australian government has introduced a new law to restrict the availability of vapes. The  government move aimed at reducing harm to young people. From January 1, 2024, the importation of all disposable vapes, including refillable products, will be banned. Vapes can only be imported by licensed importers with a permit from the Office of Drug Control. Furthermore, they must be sold in pharmacies with a prescription. The Personal Importation Scheme allowance for vapes will  end on 01 March 2024.
