Myer is “exploding online

Myer is “supercharging” its online operations with impressive results, increasing group online sales by 47.5 percent to $424.1 million.

CEO John King stated during the company’s 2022 half-year results announcement that internet sales account for 27.9 percent of overall revenues.

“The realities underlying our internet business are frequently buried in the coverage of the day,” King said, “but the increase you’re witnessing indicates we’re surpassing our colleagues and rivals.”

King also added Myer had revised its reported figures to reflect the fiscal half-year period from July to December, which corresponded to the reporting period utilised by the majority of its competitors.

“On a similar basis,” he continued, “we really increased 58.3 percent from July to December.”
