Microsoft’s $69B Acquisition of Activision Gets EU Antitrust Clearance

As part of the deal, Microsoft will offer 10-year free licensing deals to European consumers and provide cloud game streaming services for Activision’s PC and console games.

These commitments are seen as a significant improvement for the cloud gaming industry, offering better options for users. The European Commission highlighted that these measures effectively resolve competition concerns and bring positive advancements to the market.
