Medibank’s group executive of technology and operations, John Goodall, will retire from his position next month, according to an ASX filing made by the company. Goodall, who joined the health insurer in 2016, led its technology, property, procurement, and operations functions.
Medibank has appointed Kylie Williamson, currently the senior executive of core Medibank customer systems, to act in the technology and operations role on an interim basis. The company has also stated that it will be searching for a permanent replacement for Goodall. They will consider both internal and external candidates for the role.
Goodall was previously with GE Capital for 24 years. Ultimately holding the position of CIO, responsible for all IT aspects at GE Capital, Australia and New Zealand. Medibank CEO David Koczkar thanked Goodall for his significant contribution to the business. He served for over the past six years and wished him well in his retirement.
