The new self-serve kiosk seamlessly integrates into Kmart’s Eastland store, marking the first time that a “large format store” has trialled a new in-store layout in recent years. This innovative system represents a significant step forward in Kmart’s ongoing quest to redefine the retail landscape.

Click and Collect option

Customers can effortlessly place their orders online and select the ‘click and collect’ option. Upon arrival at the store, they simply scan their order confirmation code at the kiosk. Their items are promptly retrieved and delivered within minutes. Thanks to the behind-the-scenes orchestration of warehouse robotics.

Kmart has also introduced a complementary ‘select and collect’ service, featuring a dedicated kiosk for bulky items. This service eliminates the hassle of maneuvering large items around the store, further enhancing customer convenience.”Our automated click and collect system is designed to create a simple, quick experience with a self-service kiosk – where customers get their products delivered automatically via warehouse robotics that work behind the scenes,” explained Smith.
