Here we sit down with Jincy, to know a bit more about his journey as an entrepreneur.
Q. What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
Jincy: While I initially went the corporate route, which was expected I suppose, coming from a family of working professionals, deep within I had this constant itch, a restlessness. A desire want to set out on my own and chart my own course as an entrepreneur.
What made me become a matchmaker is that I believe that Love is the most powerful force on this earth, with the power to change the trajectory of our life, and take it to new heights. That is the reason my matchmaking company is called Love Heals Matchmakers.
I believe that just as technological and scientific advancements have made our lives richer, we as a people, are also looking for richer, greater love in this modern world. Today, people are not willing to settle for average, they desire the best romantic experience in their lives.
That is where Love Heals Matchmakers comes into the picture. We work to make your secret desire for lasting love, become a reality in your life!
Q. How did you get started?
Jincy: Even prior to becoming a certified matchmaker, I would find myself playing matchmaker at church and amongst friends, and several of those intuitive connections made, ended up in long-term relationships and a couple in marriage.
Intuitively connecting two people came naturally so I wanted to take it to a professional level so as to put structures and strategies in place so as to have a greater impact and reach a wider audience.
I combine my years of experience, network, knowledge, and intuition to help my clients find their perfect match!

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?
Jincy: The challenges were many and more than I had foreseen. I thought I was smart and could figure things out.
But I soon realized that after doing all I can do, things can still spiral. And I have to learn to trust. And I have to learn to fall and pick myself back up again and start over again. Try a new approach a new way of thinking or a new way of being.
The journey of becoming more and becoming greater is a road paved with thorns and potholes and obstacles and trees that can blind the vision yet through it all, y9u have to keep moving forward. Put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward.
Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing You’ve Done Since you Started your Business?
Jincy: The joy and thankfulness of a client when we are able to help him find his woman, the one who he has been looking for, the one who is his person, is truly such an exhilarating feeling.
Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?
Jincy: Waking Up: To The Way of Love by Ted Dekker
What I have found is that so many successful grown-ups still have so many hurts and pains from the past. Especially men since most men aren’t encouraged to talk about their hurts and their feelings, so they just bury it and go on with life.
But these unattended hurts and issues from the past inevitably show up in relationships. So to learn to heal ourselves first learn to be at peace with ourselves, and learn to be proud of who we are deep within us is so important to do before entering a new relationship. And this book helps you to do that.
This book talks about inner healing in a practical manner.

Q. What are your top 3 favourite online apps, tools, or resources and what do you love about them?
Jincy: Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin because with it you can connect with the world!
Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?
Jincy: That I was able to stir and awaken hearts, and offer a fresh lens with which to see their world, and their own hearts and inner world, with the things I write on social media and in my books.
That I and my team were able to help introduce men and women who ended up falling in love and raising happy, healthy families.
That I was used in a powerful way to make this world a much, much better place.

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?
Jincy: To jump, heart first and then with the mind and you will discover that being an entrepreneur exposes who you really are.
It is the journey about becoming all that we were created to be. It is a calling to be greater than what one initially thought or imagined. It is better.
