Informatica has denied acquisition talks with Salesforce following the reports of interest from Salesforce. Informatica is a data management software firm. According to sources, Salesforce withdrew from discussions to acquire Informatica due to an inability to agree on terms.Earlier this month, Reuters had indicated that the talks between the two companies were at an advanced stage.
The Wall Street Journal reported that during the negotiations, Informatica was being valued at around the mid-US$30s per share.As of Monday, Salesforce had not provided a response to reports ‘ request by reporters on the matter.
Informatica has reiterated its full-year financial forecast. Also, anticipates that its first-quarter adjusted operating income, total revenue, and several other metrics. The will fall within the upper half of its previously forecasted range. The company is scheduled to release its first-quarter results on May 1.
