Here we sit down with Marg, to know a bit more about her journey as a well-being coach.

Q. What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Marg: An unfortunate workplace injury ended in my job being made redundant. Gardening was my career and passion – so being unable to work outside left me jobless and full of anger.

I spent many long hours dwelling on the challenges and hurt I had experienced through my life – being bullied throughout school and the workplace for many years, being a victim of sexual harassment at a number of workplaces, and the majority of my relationships were filled with emotional abuse, cheating, and domestic violence, and my career and love of gardening pulled from underneath me.

At this point, I had enough of my life and continually wondered what I did to deserve being treated this way. I was at the end of my rope with my days in a constant state of anger, sadness, and unhappiness with a dreaded feeling that my life was going nowhere.

When COVID-19 came along, lockdown allowed me the space and time to think about my life and what I would do. A pivotal time in my life.

Q. How did you get started?

Marg: Online, and in search of something to get me out of this headspace, I stumbled across NLP – Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy®, and Hypnosis. Not knowing or understanding anything about it, I did some research and booked myself into a training course with a master trainer from Tad James Company to become a globally certified NLP Practitioner. It was the best thing I have ever done. I felt changed, and I felt purpose again.

A compelling sense of curiosity was born, and I wanted to see what else I could learn about and study. I went on to complete the certified Access Consciousness Access Bars® course followed by certified Access Energetic Facelift™. I also completed my globally certified NLP Master Practitioner, TimeLine Therapy® Master Practitioner, and Hypnosis course with a master trainer with Tad James Company.

I’m currently studying Quantum Physics and learning about nutrition and how it affects our bodies.

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Marg: Mindset.

After my training and qualifications, I continued to work on myself. Personal development is lifelong. It is not a quick fix.

Expecting my business to be successful in the 1st year. Now I am in my second year I can look back and see that I was successful in a different way.

This year 2022 my business has taken off. Truly grateful.

As I look back at 2021 I can see I had to go through the constant challenges and growth to get to where I am now.

To which I am truly grateful and thankful.

Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing You’ve Done Since you Started your Business?

Marg: Many things that I find are memorable. Seeing clients’ reactions and the difference in themselves after working with them.

It would be my own personal growth and how much I have changed myself and my thoughts.

What would the new me do?

Recently, I was presented with a situation involving a disgruntled neighbour.

In the past, I would have bought into the negative behaviour and have found myself triggered by the experience.

The old me: reacted. She would have been involved in the unpleasant interaction and allowed herself to feel and express anger.

The new me: responded. Feels into what I want and what resonates with that.

The old me: ready to fight with reciprocated aggression, with no regard for myself or how it would make me feel.

The new me: calm and aware, takes time to define where I place my energy and how it makes me feel.

The old me: quick to the defense, guarded and reactive.

The new me understands that it is not about me.

I noticed myself remain calm through the whole experience, knowing that it could have very well triggered me. What would that serve? Other than holding on to negativity, and only making myself feel poorly because of it. I chose to remain focused on the bigger picture and how I utilise my precious energy.

It’s a wonderfully liberating feeling when we let go of and heal underlying anger within ourselves, and choose how and what we want to feel.

Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?

Marg: The Encyclopedia for Ailments and Diseases – Jacques Martel.

We are not aware that we can bring illness and dis-ease upon ourselves. What if our disease or ailment is our body’s way of crying for help. By changing one’s thoughts, emotions and behaviours your body can heal.

Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Marg: Most of us are creatures of comfort, so the thought of actualising an idea by following it through can seem quite scary. Well, UNcomfortable. So we keep doing it all on repeat.

Your biggest investment in life is YOU. Give yourself your full commitment and your absolute ALL. Be the change you so eagerly desire, and lovingly deserve.
Live Your Your Best Life

To make the world a better place. Help people become happier, kinder, forgiving, loving, and to let go of the past, heal and live your best life.

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?

Marg: Do not give up on your dreams and goals. If it is meant to be, it will happen at the right time. Stay focused.

Patience and be the best person you can be.

Work on yourself and be ready.
