Exclusive with Eleni Mitas, Founder of Hypnofit®️

Eleni (born Helen Mitas) is the founder of the world’s first global Hypnotherapy clinic, Hypnofit®️, with 19 Hypnotherapy clinics in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA and Canada.

Eleni is the author of the published book ‘Mindset Dominance’ and was awarded ‘Hypnotist of the Year’ by the mid-America Conference in Chicago.

In her 53rd year, Helen reclaimed her birth name, Eleni, as she realised that her birth name reflected the essence of her soul.

Rather than being referred to as a thought leader, Eleni is starting a movement of heart leaders, those who dare to design the world from their heart centre.

Here we sit down with Eleni, to know a bit more about her journey as an entrepreneur.

Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Eleni: I played the matrix at full speed for 53 years. Travelling around the world, building a thriving global business from scratch. I worked bloody hard and was always exhausted but I still strived for more.

With the help of a South American Shaman, I experienced a profound spiritual awakening with plant medicine and realised that there was nothing to prove, nowhere to go and I was already exactly where I was meant to be!

And from that day I reclaimed my beautiful birth name Eleni, which means “light” – I stepped into the light and I have been shedding the many layers of programming ever since. I let go of everything that caused me stress. I now live by the ocean and I am in love with my life.

Q. What’s one thing in your routine that you do consistently that has made a huge difference in your personal or business life?

Eleni: Self-observation without judgement. I observe myself as the character of the movie of my life. I see my identity as separate to my true self. I watch the thoughts, beliefs, judgements and stories that pass through my mind.

They have been created from years of social and cultural programming. I question every thought and every belief so that I stay connected to the highest possible expression of me and not my ego self.

I am conscious of making intentional choices from my heart and not my head. This has made a huge difference to moving out of the drama and stress and into harmony and peace.

Q. Who are your mentors and inspiration? and what knowledge or insight did they give to you that was valuable?

Eleni: Michael Singer, Author of ‘The Surrender Experiment’ had a profound impact on releasing the ‘workaholic’ within, me. Michael recounts his extraordinary life where he decided to let go of all desires and surrender to whatever ‘life’ wanted for him. From a reclusive hippie, he created a billion dollar-empire.

I decided to adopt the same life principle, by adopting an attitude that every moment that was presented to me is perfect exactly as is.

I learnt that by letting go of needing to control the moment or change the moment, I also released suffering from my life.

Q. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Eleni: From starting a small business in my home, as a Hypnotherapist back in 2010 to now being the founder of the world’s only global Hypnotherapy clinic with 19 Clinics in the U.S.A., Canada, U.K., New Zealand and Australia.

Q. How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?

Eleni: Speaking from my heart with passion and authenticity at every opportunity without allowing the judgements of others to stop me from serving my purpose.

Q. What have been your biggest failures or challenges?

Eleni: I do not see anything as a failure. Every challenge presented me with an opportunity to learn a valuable lesson. My second marriage of 22 years ended largely because of the pressures of working together with my husband in the business.

The challenge was that it was my business and he was supporting me with my passion. It was not his passion. I was carrying a lot of masculine energy and there was a definite misalignment.

Q. How did this failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Eleni: Every challenge or setback is a catalyst for learning a valuable lesson. I learnt that a successful business cannot rely on one or two individuals.

I needed to get realigned with my feminine energy and allow others to do some of the heavy lifting in the business. I now have a strong, trustworthy, reliable team that I can depend on.

Q. If someone was to create a TV show about you, what would it be about and what would it be called?

Eleni: The Awakening of Eleni

The story of a young girl called Helen who was taught that to be a good girl she needed to learn to work hard. She wasn’t allowed to go out to play with the other children. She worked and worked and worked.

One day, a Sharman conducted an Ancient Ceremony with magical plants and she was shown that her life was just an illusion. She was simply an actress in the film of her life. She decided to reclaim her birth name ‘Eleni’ which means ‘light’ and she stepped out of the darkness into the light.

She decided to change the story line.

She sold her house, gave her money away to her son, gave away all her things and moved to live a simple life by the Ocean with her love . She swam and read books and fell in love with her whole world as she now understood that she is the director of the movie of her life.
