Today, we sit down with Meen to learn more about her journey as an entrepreneur!

Q: How did you get started as an entrepreneur? What was your motivation?

Meen: It all began with a favour for a friend who was going away on a month-long holiday and needed someone to cover for him with his clients. Guess who said ‘yes’? Me! Handling his clients during that time felt like a big responsibility, and somehow, it went well. That experience gave me a good boost of confidence that I could do it and I was motivated to do more with my creative skill.

Q: What entrepreneurial tricks have you discovered to keep you focused and productive?

Meen: It’s crucial to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve and break goals into manageable tasks for effective progress tracking. I’ve found maintaining an activity log to be super beneficial – it helps understand time allocation, recognise habits and develop better routines.

And, my three go-to tricks to keep me focused and increase productivity are:

  1. Eliminate anything not aligned with goals. It frees up more time for high-value activities.
  2. Automate repetitive tasks using technology and AI tools.
  3. Delegate non-core stuff so only focus on your strengths and do more of what you love.

Q: How do you stay organised with such a busy schedule?

Meen: Well, there are several things I do to stay organised:

• Prioritisation is key, allocating specific time blocks for different tasks without distractions.
• Simplify processes as much as possible, utilising digital tools and apps for task management, meetings and deadlines.
• Implementing Standard Operating Procedures across various business areas has been a game-changer, streamlining operations and building trust with our clients.
• Partnering with talents who vibe with our values and expanding an A-team. Absolutely essential!

Q: What would you change if you had a magic wand?

Meen: I’d sprinkle kindness and empathy everywhere, creating a world where compassion, understanding and forgiveness are the norm. Then I’d boost overall well-being – making sure people feel healthy and happy in body, mind and heart. And of course, I’d use that magic to protect our planet, ensuring it stays green and thriving for future generations.

Q: If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?

Meen: I’d call it ‘Evolve – Elevating Everyday Excellence.’ It would be about the journey of consistent growth, showcasing how small daily improvements compound into significant progress over time and lead to remarkable outcomes – both in life and business.

Q: What motivates you?

Meen: Crafting top-notch brands in food, travel and lifestyle lights my fire. I’m driven by my passion for killer design and elegance. It’s exciting to bring dreams to life, transforming aspirations into realities. And seeing our clients’ successes, alongside the positive impact we have on people’s lives, keeps me pumped!

Q: What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?

Meen: Investing in personal growth has been monumental. It’s empowered me to navigate challenges with resilience, manage stress better and have more clarity through mindfulness and meditation practices – like powerful mental recharges with renewed energy. It’s just awesome!

Q: What key activities would you recommend entrepreneurs invest their time in?

Meen: Key activities that drive sustainable business growth are gold and I recommend focusing on solving real problems with unique solutions including:

• Brand building, online marketing and sales
• Customer insights and data-driven decisions
• Continuous learning in AI and adapting quickly
• Building solid networks and relationships
• Financial management and contributions

Q: What is your ‘one-sentence’ piece of advice you’d like to give to someone who wants to become an entrepreneur, coach, or business owner?

Meen: I’d say “Enjoy the journey.” Let passion fuel your journey, perseverance keep you going, focus drive your actions, assessment help you improve and adjustment allow you to evolve toward success.
