In an unprecedented move, Disney Cruise Line will offer “magical sailings” in Australia and New Zealand. The announcement was made at a special event held at the Walt Disney Studios.
This marks the first time that Disney Cruise Line will be sailing to Australia and New Zealand. The cruise line will be offering a variety of itineraries that will visit a variety of ports in both countries.
Some of the ports that will be visited include Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and Brisbane. The cruise line will also be offering special itineraries that will visit the Great Barrier Reef and Milford Sound.
This is an exciting development for Disney Cruise Line and for the Walt Disney Company as a whole. Australia and New Zealand are two of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and this move will allow Disney to tap into that market.
Disney will offer two to six nights between October 2021 to February 2024. sailings to Australia and New Zealand.
On-board will also be original Broadway-quality shows and some of Disney’s most popular friends, including Captain Mickey Mouse, Captain Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto.
At the imaginative restaurants including Tiana’s Place, guests can enjoy a taste of New Orleans cooking and meet Princess Tiana. Another interactive dining experience that celebrates Disney animation is Animater’s Palate.
Bookings will be open to the public from Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 8am AEST and 11am NZDT.
